Description:  

The permanent course is surrounded by 50 acres of beautiful park land at Eirias Park.

Maps are available for a small charge from the main reception of Colwyn Leisure Centre and the Civic Centre Council Office.  There is no need to purchase a new map each time.  Each participant will be required to sign in and out at Colwyn Leisure Centre prior to starting the course.

You will need paper and a pencil to record the letters on the red and white markers. 
You can vary each route from beginner to the more advanced.

How to get to the start:  

Junction / exit 22 for Old Colwyn A55: Eastbound, turn right at bottom of slipway.

Junction / exit 22 for Old Colwyn A55: Westbound turn left at bottom of slipway.

At roundabout, take 4th exit, towards Colwyn Bay.

Follow road until you pass a field on your right hand side. 

You will come to a small roundabout (there is a skate park on your right).

Turn right, through open iron gates. 

Follow the driveway, past the astro turf pitch.

The Leisure Centre should be directly in front of you as you come down the drive.

The reception area is at the far side of the building.

Please note, on some occasions the orienteering course will be unavailable for the general public due to organised events and sessions.  Prior to attending, please contact Colwyn Bay Leisure Centre for course availability.
