Leave the car park and walk towards the path opposite Tafarn y Bont. Follow this path, along side a stream, passing a small chapel on your right. Follow the track to the right of the bridges, through the two gates into the field. Walk alongside the stream that’s runs on your left until you reach another gate. After walking through this gate, cross over the bridge and over the stile to walk over the larger bridge. Be aware of traffic from both directions. Once over the bridge take your immediate left and again cross a stile so you can walk along the river. There is a small stretch here before reaching another gate, which is followed by another stretch, all the while along side the river before reaching the next stile. Walking through this field alongside the river will lead you to another bridge that will take you near a farm. Pass through the farm gate, staying on the public footpath that leads you to the main road that runs through Llangernyw. Turn left here by the Llangernyw sign and head along the pavement back into the village. Cross the road at the 30 mph signs to join the pavement and continue into the village. There is a small stretch where the pavement ends so be aware of oncoming traffic. Walk past The Old Stag and take a left at the school sign before crossing a bridge and heading along the track that will bring you back to the start of the walk.
