Location: Brickfield Pond and River Clwyd Walk
Activity Type: Walking
Description:

Starting from the Countryside Services Office at Brickfields Pond, walk around the pond in an anti clockwise fashion, taking in the various sculptures, birds and wildfowl along the way. Once you reach the far left corner of the pond, take the path on your right, through the kissing gate and out onto the Cefndy Industrial Estate, follow the road down and right towards Cefndy road.

Turning left on Cefndy Road, take the footpath immediately on your right, around the back of the Caravan Park. Following the footpath you will cross over a small bridge, carry on forward, taking the path to your left.

This is the start of a full circular walk taking in Glan Y Morfa. As you walk along the path you will follow the River Clwyd to your left. The path will then bend round to the right, where you will follow the train track on your left hand side. The path will then bend again to the right, where you will carry on forward, ending up back at the beginning of the circular path. Take the path back over the small bridge, passing the caravan park, this time on your left.

Once on Cefndy Road turn right and then left and right again, back down to Brickfields pond. Go through the kissing gates, turn right and follow the path, completing the rest of the Brickfield Pond walk, back to the starting point.
