Starting at the Leisure Centre entrance, follow the road down, passing through the School/Leisure Centre entrance and turn left.

Walk along the side of the road (no pavement so beware of traffic coming from each direction).

Turn right and cross the bridge, turning right again onto the bridle path running alongside the canal. Walk along the canal, passing under 2 bridges.

After the 2nd bridge, turn left, walking back on yourself up the slope to the main road.

Cross over the road and take the road opposite (Tower Road).

Follow this ascending road until you reach a cross roads.

Turn left onto Dinbren Road. Carry on forward up the ascending road, again be aware of traffic.

As the road bends around to the left you will see a gate on the right. Walk through the gate and carry on forward up the field towards the stile in the corner of the field (Please note this part of the walk is a steep incline).

Carry on forward over the stile, taking the path to your right, following it up until a flat area of ground is reached.

Carry on forward, down the hill, through the gate, following the path down into the school car park, and turning right, back to the Leisure Centre.

Shorter alternative with small incline

Starting at the Leisure Centre entrance, follow the road down, passing through the School/Leisure Centre entrance and turn left.

Follow this ascending road until you reach a cross roads.

Turn right onto Dinbren Road. Carry on forward passing the Llangollen Pavilion site on your right until you are back at the School / Leisure Centre entrance.

Turn left and carry on forward back up to the Leisure Centre.
