Walk/Jog
An outlined trail for the beginner walk to jog sessions will be marked with ‘North Wales Outdoor Challenge’ Way Markers, which are Green in colour and mounted on wooden posts. Beneath these Way Markers will be directional yellow arrows indicating you the routes you are able to take. There are beginners, intermediate and advanced trails available; you can then choose which route you would like to take depending on what best suits your needs and time available to physical activity on that day. All routes start and finish at the Wepre Park Visitors Centre.
Orienteering
There is a permanent orienteering trail which starts at Wepre Park and leads up to the historic Ewloe Castle, past a whole host of woodland and wildlife attractions. Orienteering maps are available from the Wepre Park visitor’s centre for which there is a small charge. There is no need to purchase a map each time, you will require a pen and pencil to record the information on the Way Markers.
